Yesterday we made a fruit cake. The recipe said to double layer the grease proof paper so that the outsides don't go hard.

Yesterday we went in the garden. I mainly sat on the swing and mum planted flowers.

We have rearranged the lounge. We have moved the book shelves to make  he room seem larger and put a pair of lounge cupboards in in their place.

For lunch we had scones and tea cakes. How do you have your scones jam first or cream first, also how do you sat scone do you say it like s-gone or like s-cone?

While at the park we had a picnic but we forgot cups for the squash and so we had to improvise.

We went to St James park on my new electric bike with mum, dad and the kids on their bikes too.

We have got an electric bike so that I can go out bike riding with Mum, Dad and the kids.

I mowed the lawn today.

Today mum went on a bike ride with Bilaal on his balance bike and Ibraheem in his Isla bike. They went to to halfords to get her brakes fixed.

Mum has got herself a so that she can out on bike rides with her friends.

For lunch I made a stir fry with noodles and peppers.

I made a quick homemade jam to put on a scone. I put chopped strawberries, icing sugar, citric acid and a splash of water in a pan and cooked it for a bit. Unfortunately I was all sour becaus I added too much acid.

Yesterday we had a fire in the garden. We toasted frozen bread on a fork on a stick.

Its much better when you make something yourself because you will know how it works.

I have made a flame shooting gun.

The crystal kit we got has worked! I really didn't think it wasn't going to work so I am rather pleased.

For dinner we are having a meat curry. We haven't had a homemade lamb curry in rather a long time. I  hope Ibraheem likes it because he isn't a huge fan of meat.

For breakfast I had eggy bread. Eggy bread is slices of bread dipped in beaten egg and cooked in a griddle pan. In our house we eat it in different ways. Dad ads sugar to the beaten egg and makes sweet eggy breads which Ibraheem and Bilaal love and mum and I have it with brown sauce and nothing extra in the egg. Have you had eggy bread and if so how do you have it?

Does anyone else's cats do this.

I used to be able to make a fire with a bow and spindle, with dads help. Today I tried doing it myself but I tried doing a possibly easier way.

Yesterday evening, because Bilaal finished his first page of his madressa book we got to have a knicker-blocker-glory.

The people who came to make samosas have sent us a picture of themselves. They are called Kate and Daniel.

Yesterday a home educating family came to learn how to make samosas.  I forgot to take a picture.

Yesterday we tryed out the new volcano kit. The gloves were so small they mead my fingers tingle.

Yesterday I started repairing the hole in the door with teabag paper. I stuffed the hole with paper and painted it with watered down glue. I pasted several layers on and let it dry. Today, I have painted it. I will have to do several coats of paint so it looks good.

I made a Fimo rabbit withh my brothers. Ibraheem made a dog and Bilaal made a cat. 

I have finished my airfix jaguar e-type. It looks really nice but I ran out of red paint while touching it up.

I realised it is the same car as the car in the cross stitch that grandma gave me.

I am making a picture from a set.

Yesterday we started a crystal growing thing. They are some rock that we got from the museum. You have to put them in distilled vinegar and leave them for a while.

Today mum went to the pet shop to get a littler tart for the new big cat and also got some toys for the kittens and Jemaima. She got a squeaky duff-it-up stick which Iorek likes to play with, with or without a person controlling it. She also got a fluffy catnip rat for Jemaima to play with. She hasn't had a chance to play with it yet. Bothe of the kittens are ready to go tho a new home now. The signs of a kitten that is ready to go to a new home is when the room or area that the cat in question is confined in doesn't seem to be enough freedom. Also when the kitten are always sitting at the window and keep trying to escape is is a sure sign.
