We only just got to the holiday cottage in time for the Tesco’s delivery. We followed the delivery van up the drive but once we got to the top dad had to stop to let the Tesco man turn his van around and when he started driving again he skidded on the thick layer of gravel at the top of the steep hill next to the cottage.

We are going on holiday. Because Dad doesn’t have a trailer number plate we couldn’t put the bikes on the back of the car and Dad had to put the bikes in the back and leave his behind.

We are going on holiday today to some place in hererfordshire. When we get back i will have a lot to blog about.

Yesterday I made some Anzac biscuits. You made them by mixing 1 cup of sugar, oats, self-raising flour and a cup of desiccated coconut together in a bowl. In a large pan melt together 4oz of margarine and 2 tablespoons of golden syrup then when you are ready add in a mixture of 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda dissolved in a tablespoon of boiling water. The mixture will froth now pour the dry bowl into the pan mix thoroughly. Leave to cool for five minutes and then roll the mix in to balls and cook on a greased and floured baking tray and cook in the over at 150 fan for 10 -15 minutes or until golden brown. They should be soft and have flattened out on to large round biscuits. Leave to cool and harden and enjoy with a cup of milk.

we were going to use this bucket
We have made some soap after being inspired to do so by the cute sheep. In the process of making this very first batch of soap we have learned that the ingredents do not keep their smell and that to make the soap smell nie you have to use essential or synthetic oils.
