I have found a fish pond in the grounds of the cottage.

At the holiday cottage we found an Othello board. Mum showed me how to play and I won my first ever game on Othello against Dad. (I am whites and there were some pieces missing so we took them from un-used spaces.)

For our first proper lunch on holiday we went foraging for wild foods that we can eat. We got nettles, wild garlic and jack in the hedge. We cooked it on a big stove thing for 2 hours with cubed potatoes, fried onions and a pinch of salt. It was delicious!!
